Mr Lim Tiang Siew ("Mr Lim") retired as the Group Chief Internal Auditor of CIMB Group in March 2018, after serving 27 years in CIMB. Mr Lim's experience and expertise of over 40 years covered internal and external auditing, accounting, corporate finance and advisory, corporate governance, and compliance. For more than half of his tenure in CIMB, Mr Lim was a member of CIMB's top most management team, and a member of all its major risk committees. 

He was an examiner for the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants professional examinations in respect of a particular subject for some 15 years before being appointed as a reviewer for the same subject, a position which he still holds.

He was appointed an Independent Director of MSIG Insurance (Malaysia) Berhad on 15 December 2018 and became Chairman of the Audit Committee on 1 March 2019.
