A civil engineer, Mr Chan has over 40 years experience in civil engineering works. 

He was the Head of Facility Engineering Division of Pengurusan LRT, Kuala Lumpur prior to joining the Company in 1995. He is highly experienced in managing the construction of highways, airports and water supply schemes in Malaysia, the United Kingdom, Middle East and India. 

He was also involved in the Electrified Double-tracking Railway Project from Ipoh to Padang Besar and is currently involved in the Klang Valley MRT project in Malaysia.
