In order to success in investing throughout your life, being persistent is a must. Why? This is because we will always see others that are earning money just from trading daily or frequently, and they will never require to hold a stock for longer than a week. This make their risk much lower because they will not have to deal with company’s poor result or any sudden changes, and all they do is follow the chart.

Trading will obviously make money, there is no doubt on it. However, always question yourself, what is your target, what is your aim coming into the market, what do you want to achieve? If you are very sure that you want to be an investor that look into a business, a management’s bravery, or a company’s prospect, then be persistent about it. Do not think that trading is an easier way to make money and you will just switch to it, disregarding what you are aiming for when you first enter the market, which is to make long-term return.

This scenario can be perfectly illustrated in 2020 market. Almost all the traders are earning money from day trading, and all the investors are just following the price fluctuation and not willing to sell their shares, as they believed that investing is their go-to. However, many have lost their confidence because they have experienced this for too many times. No matter how good or how bad the stock is, traders can always earn money from it, while investors are just watching. Hence, the writer believed that there is a lot of investors also involved themselves in trading for the year 2020, to prevent them missing the chance to earn some money too.

The writer is more to investing himself, but I never doubt that trading will be able to earn more money. However, the writer believed that being persistent and refuse to change his approach even when it is unfashionable to the entire market is still the best way to make long-term return. Yes, investors may make much lesser money in 2020, but will they earn more in 2030? We have zero idea and only time will tell.

In short, a small advice to fellow investors is, if you are serious in investing, stick with it. Yes, it may be a tough year for investors, but the writer believes that investing in good companies with good prospect can gain you more wealth in the future. It does not matter how many does other earned; it is what you earned that matter the most.

如果要在投资路上取得成功，我们就必须要坚持。为什么呢？这是因为我们时常听到其他人在交易的时候，不管是当天交易还是短期交易都能够赚钱，而且他们还不需要持有一家公司很久。这也间接让他们的风险降低，毕竟这样他们就不需要应付公司的业绩炸弹或者什么不好的消息，他们只需要跟着图即可。

交易当然让你赚钱，这是毋庸置疑的。但是，常常问自己，你的目标是什么，你进到股市的目的是什么，你要达成什么？如果你很确定自己是要成为投资者，而且注重公司的生意模式，管理层的激进，公司的前景，那么就坚持下去啊。不要想着交易可以让你赚钱就换过去，而忽视了你一开始的目标，那就是获得长期的回酬。

这个情况可以完美的以2020年的股市呈现出来。几乎所有的交易者都在每日交易从赚到钱，而投资者则只是跟随着股价的浮动，也不会卖出他们的股票，因为他们始终相信投资是对的。但是，越来越多的投资者都开始失去了信心因为这种经历实在出现太多次了。不管那只股有多好或者多坏，交易者始终能赚钱，而投资者却只能看。因此，笔者确信许多的投资者在2020年或多或少都有参与交易，来避免自己失去赚钱的机会。

笔者是属于投资型的，但是笔者也从来不怀疑交易能够赚到更多钱。但是，笔者始终相信坚持，并且拒绝在投资最不适用的时候去更换投资的方法是获得长期回酬最好的方法。肯定的，投资者在2020年会赚得更少，但他们会不会在2030年赚得更多呢？我们都不知道，也只有让时间来证明一切。

总结，一个对投资者们一个小小的建议就是，如果你对投资是认真的，那么就坚持下去。尽管2020年是对投资者一个很大的挑战，但是笔者相信投资在有好前景的好公司会在未来给你带来更多的财富。不管别人赚的多少，自己赚到的才是最重要的。
