The KLSE Finance sector is generally having downtrend due to pandemic. There are some rumour saying that overnight policy rate (OPR) might further reduce from 1.75% (the lowest % since 2004) to 1.5% on the upcoming meeting at September 2021. 

In short, lower OPR means you pay less for your installment (lower interest rate) and banks earn less from customers. This will badly affected their revenue as we know banks rely on lending as an important commercial activity.

Reason to Monitor: Possible reduction on OPR by September.
