A family dispute between a husband wife. No one knows their contention except them. As usual, some men as nature endowed, would resort to aggression in the spur of moment for the lack of defensive word against obstinate or ill mannered wife. The state delivers jail sentence to the man and thinks this is the solution to patch up families. Obviously any man worth called a man would sever ties with the wife who brought him shame and isolation.

A child left alone in a car or house. The parent(s) may have an urgent matter to attend which require them to leave the child behind. In the meantime, an adventurous child left alone may have had explored to the extent of causing harm to self or fatal injury. This, the state labels as NEGLIGENCE and metes out punishment. Depending on the severity of the case, one could end up in jail. Here again a warped decision taken and the family members are rip apart. If it is the breadwinner jailed, the family members will have to carry the beggar bowl expecting sympathy. These are the targets of religionists for proselytisation by exploiting weakness.

There are many such cases where seeminlgy innoncent lapse of mind or care brings life altering sentences which breaks up families forever.

A Malay proverb aptly describes this situation "Sudah Jatuh di timpa tangga"
