Cigarette prices going up, government clamping down on illicit cigarettes and the rising cost of living are all factors that led public health educator Dr Nizam Baharom to conclude that 2018 is the best year to quit smoking. He comes on the show to address how initiatives like mQuit are getting more people off nicotine addiction and why the proposed reintroduction of “kiddie packs” should be opposed at all cost.
