In an Op-Ed for the New York Times last month titled “The Tyranny of Convenience,” Columbia University law professor Tim Wu wrote that convenience “threatens to erase the sort of struggles that help give meaning to life.” On this episode of Digital Desires, we assess the relationship between technology and convenience, whether a convenience-driven life is liberating or enslaving, as well as the value of not taking the path of least resistance.
