This week on ABOC, we look at our places in the world through our tribal identities and our sense of self, the battle between written and spoken poetry and the worst of humanity in Western media. Newcomer on the show, co-curator of the Georgetown Literary Festival, Pauline Fan together with Kam and Uma delves into the writing of exiled writers such as Stefan Zweig. Next, Kam expresses his disdain for the younger generation’s appropriation of poetry through “slam” poetry.
