Indah Water Konsortium (IWK) has expressed concern over the company’s finances after registering unexpected higher operating costs. They are expecting higher costs as a result of the implementation of the imbalance cost pass-through. IWK’s CEO Faizal Othman is now calling for a review of the sewerage bill imposed on households. The sewerage tariff has remained at RM8 a month for more than 20 years - since Indah Water first started operations in 1994.
