Inner and outer must work in synchronisation, easier to say than done.
We already know how to retrigger youth in many kinds of animal, fasting is one imperfect way to reyouth for human.
If you look at ducks, force moulding is one technology to turn the older ducks back to youth again. Let it stop eat and drink, then let it retake food and drink slowly, in a week or so when the feather is dried, pluck the main 10 x 2 feathers at the wings. After 4 weeks the ducks will start laying eggs again. It will look young, marks on it beak will disappear.
Chicken has a similar feature to ducks.
Eagle cut off its beak to reyouth.
