PrEP - or pre-exposure prophylaxis - can be life-saving, as it's highly effective in preventing HIV when taken as prescribed. Recently, Deputy Health Minister Lukanisman Awang Sauni said that the Ministry of Health will be further expanding a pilot programme which sees PrEP being dispensed for free.
