Ong Kian Ming, Former Deputy Minister, International Trade and Industry (MITI), Member of DAP

Last Friday, the Pardons Board reduced Datuk Seri Najib Razak's prison sentence and fine. While this has left numerous unresolved questions lingering, criticism has been directed at both the prime minister and political parties within the unity government questioning their commitment to stamping out corruption. Ong Kian Ming, former Deputy Minister of International Trade and Industry (MITI) and member of DAP gives us his views on the ramifications of this especially among loyal DAP supporters.

Let najib be partially pardon loh!

Ok mah....only 50% discount mah!

That means najib need to serve 6 yrs loh!

Still awfully long loh.!

Remember there is another case 1MDB.....what if Najib sentence another 12 yrs leh ??

That will be a disaster for najib, thus the current partial pardon do not serve any purpose, considering najib age loh!

Conclusion....let najib be partially pardon SRC case....no need be sibuk loh!
