Malaysia's benchmark FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI Index is expected to rise to 1,730 by the end of the year because of 'positive' domestic factors, according to HwangDBS Vickers Research Sdn Bhd.
Its high conviction picks include Malayan Banking Bhd, Boustead Holdings Bhd and DRB-Hicom Bhd, HwangDBS said in a report today.
The stock index rose 1.2 per cent to a record close of 1,551.89 yesterday. -- Bloomberg
