Willowglen MSC bags RM23.97m telecom tower infrastructure contract in Sabah

KUALA LUMPUR (May 10): Willowglen MSC Bhd has been awarded a RM23.97 million contract by Majubina Resources Sdn Bhd.

The contract is for the design, build and transfer of infrastructures capable of supporting 20 telecommunication towers at various sites in Sabah, according to the computer integrated systems designer's filing on Tuesday (May 10).

The contract, which commenced on May 9, 2022, will be completed by Feb 8, 2023.

"The contract is expected to contribute positively to the group's earnings and net assets per share for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2022.

"The contract is not renewable and the risks in respect of the contract are the normal business risks," the filing said.

Shares of Willowglen MSC gained 0.5 sen to close at 38 sen, valuing it at RM188.5 million.
