KUALA LUMPUR (July 14): KESM Industries Bhd has declared an interim dividend of 1.5 sen per share for the financial year ending July 31, 2022 (FY22).

The dividend, totalling RM645,217, will be paid on Aug 23, said the independent burn-in and test service company in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.

For the first nine months of FY22, KESM’s net profit declined 47.82% to RM4.17 million, from RM7.989 million a year earlier, on lower sales of electronic manufacturing services. Revenue rose slightly to RM191.07 million from RM190.21 million, lifted by increase in burn-in and testing sales.

KESM shares closed down eight sen or 1.29% at RM6.11 on Thursday (July 14), giving the group a market capitalisation of RM262.82 million.
