Former JPMorgan Malaysia Research Head Ng Is Now RGB International's Chief Strategy Officer

KUALA LUMPUR (July 6): Electronic gaming machine manufacturer RGB International Bhd has appointed former JP Morgan Malaysia head of equity research Ng Keng Luen as chief strategy officer of the group effective immediately.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia on Thursday (July 6), RGB said Ng, 41, has nearly 20 years of experience in the financial market.

According to RGB, Ng was with Bank of America Merrill Lynch (now known as Bank of America and BofA Securities) from 2005 to 2014, before joining APS Asset Management as senior vice-president, head of research. Ng then joined Deutsche Bank in Singapore as director and Asean equity strategist from 2015 to 2019.

In 2020, he was made the head of Asean research in China Renaissance. Between August 2020 and June this year, Ng was head of equity research at JPMorgan Malaysia.

RGB shares closed up one sen or 2.82% at 36.5 sen on Thursday, giving it a market capitalisation of RM557.26 million.
