1. Tsh has managed to pare down debts of Rm1.5 Billions

2. After 20 years most of the 188,000 acres land bought by loans have been fully paid off

3. As a result in coming quarters Tsh will no longer need to service high loan repayment

4. Assets bought 20 years ago have not appreciated in value but Tsh did not revalue it's assets

KUALA LUMPUR: Public Investment Bank (PublicInvest) is ceasing its coverage of TSH Resources Bhd due to the company's limited growth prospects and sluggish fresh-fruit bunches (FFB) yield.
The firm said it is reallocating its internal sources to other sectors.


Investors should no longer depend on any of our financial forecasts for TSH Resources in making investment decisions, nor infer any adverse opinion as a result of our decision to cease research coverage," said PublicInvest.

In a research note today, PublicInvest said FFB production growth is anticipated to be subdued this year due to the sale of plantation assets in Indonesia and Sabah (13,214 hectares) over the past two years.

"Additionally, the average age of the plantations is increasing (currently 13.4 years old), and FFB yield remains low due to insufficient replanting activities in recent years," PublicInvest said.

@calvintaneng ..... i salute ur relentless pursuit of tsh, as one of the main shareholders i guess its just the right thing to do :-) but why u say tsh pare down loans of or to RM1.5b?? their balance sheet only shows RM218m in borrowings? PERx is still high lah at 19x for plantation company, try to increase yield and profits first lah..... later talk about land sale.
Just imagine is airasia promotes its shares by saying that it makes money from selling planes, well while it can sell planes an dmake profit, the share price is determinant on its ability of raise profits from ticket sales..... like that loh, tsh needs to prove itself from selling palmoil rather than land..... the latter is just bonus when it comes by :-) cheers buddy

Thanks. Loan was about Rm1.5 Billions if you refer to year 2016/7 Balance sheets. After 5 years now loan only Rm210 Millions. But since it has cash & liquid investments it is actually cash positive

For TSH i look at it from Overall Angles of

1) Assets: It has over 180,000 Acres of Palm oil lands
2) 400,000 Acres forest concession
3) 50/50 JV with Wilmar in Palm Oil Refinery (Sabah)
4) Out of its 180,000 Acres Oil palm about 94.700 Acres located in IKN Nusantara
(Now as Tok Mat said about Bplant planting "on gold mine" lands & took Bplant private Rm1.55 (Was 57 sen when wee bought)

So TSH assets value Outshine operational profits

Plus TSH after disposing 2 Estates has allocated Funds to plant up all remaining Palm oil lands

And then the prospect of building 5 Biogas Plant from Palm Waste in Indonesia

ALL OF THE ABOVE ARE REASONS TO INVEST IN TSH AS TSH IS NOW MORE THAN JUST PLANTING PALM OIL
