All 6 local telcos have reached a consensus on the access agreement with Digital Nasional Berhad (DNB) to lease 5G services.
YES and TM both took a 20% equity stake each while Digi and Celcom took a 12.5 % each. The remaining 35% has been retained by the government, which will hold a golden share.
Maxis and U Mobile have decided not to take any equity shares in DNB. Instead, they will only be signing the access agreement to lease 5G services with DNB.
