HSI Futures


U.S. stocks closed little changed on Friday, pressured by renewed uncertainty in healthcare stocks and by Disney shares, even as October payrolls data pointed to a resilient economy in the face of sluggish global growth.


Hong Kong shares ended lower after a volatile session on Friday, pressured by profit taking and concerns over the status of a cross border stock trading scheme. China inflation data and ongoing APEC summit in China will be focus for today. 


Plan A : Above 23807, do nothing

Plan B : Below 23419, do nothing

Plan C : Attempt selling if market rebounds but fails to break above 23625

Plan D : Cut above 23807

Plan E : Intraday buying to be considered only if market stays firmly above 23419 and trigger buy

Plan F : Cut below 23419

Market tumbled more than 10 points last Friday as buyers were seen liquidating their position as cash market closing at day's low level. Any rebound today could be weak as sentiment got beaten down after five consecutive days of declines.


Holding sell

Plan A : 1809-1833, do nothing

Plan B : Above 1833, cover position

Plan C : Below 1809, consider taking profits if market rebounds above 1809

Plan D : Consider intraday buy if market supports well above 1809

Plan E : Cut below 1805

 

 

FCPO

 

FCPO completed a week of decline last week with market closing at near day's low level on Friday. Market might recover slightly at the opening today amid firmer bean and dalian. Recovery however, could be shortlived if market fails to break above 2226 today.

 

Holding short

Plan A : 2166-2226, do nothing

Plan B : Above 2226, buy back

Plan C : Below 2166, temporary take profits first if market rebounds

Plan D : Consider intraday buy only if market holds firmly above 2166

Plan E : Cut below 2152
