HSI Futures


Wall Street was little changed on Thursday after two days of solid gains as investors digested the latest round of big bank earnings and financial shares kept bouncing back.


Hong Kong shares climbed to three-month closing highs on Thursday, tracking global markets, as China's upbeat March trade data lifted hopes for the country's first-quarter GDP figures to be released on Friday. Market watchers will be focusing on China's GDP data due 10 am local time.

Plan A : Above 21524, do nothing

Plan B : Below 21235, do nothing

Plan C : Consider selling if market gap up but fails to breach above 21524

Plan D : Cut above 21626

Plan E : Attempt buying if market stays firm above 21310

Plan F : Cut below 21235



FKLI


FKLI showed a lackluster performance yesterday despite touching an intraday high of 1726.5 at the opening. A muted opening can be expected today after overnight Dow closed almost unchanged. It will be important for market to stays firm above 1714 at least if it were to remain bullish for the coming days.

Plan A : Attempt buying if market holds firm above 1717.5

Plan B : Cut below 1713.5

Plan C : Consider selling if market surges but fails to breach above 1727.5 again

Plan D : Cut above 1733.5

FCPO flattened for the day after a gap-up on Thursday morning. Dalian and soybean oil are slightly weak while Ringgit hovers around RM3.88 to RM3.90 lately.

Plan A : Buy if market opened low and supported above 2650. Targets are 2669, 2677, 2685 and 2701.

Plan B : Sell if market rebounded and resisted around 2685. Targets are 2673, 2667, 2650 and 2631.

Plan C : Above 2686, no fresh position.

Plan D : Below 2650, no fresh position.
