Wall Street sold off on Tuesday as investors boosted their bets on the Federal Reserve raising rates later this year, while Home Depot dragged on indexes following its quarterly report.


Hong Kong stocks rose on Tuesday, encouraged by upbeat U.S. and Asian markets as well as by higher oil prices. Biggest surprise came from Japan today. The world's third-largest economy expanded an annualized 1.7 percent in the January-March period, the fastest pace in a year, blowing past market expectations for a 0.2 percent rise. On a quarterly basis, real gross domestic product (GDP) rose 0.4 percent, versus the 0.1 percent analysts polled by Reuters had expected.

Plan C : Attempt buying if market holds firm above 19979

Plan E : Consider intraday selling if market gap up but fails to breach above 20093

FKLI made a strong surge yesterday, only to fail at the closing minutes to close above 1630. Market is expected to open lower today, taking cue from overnight Dow but positive news from Japan could cushion the fall. Eager sellers are advised to avoid selling at too low levels.

Plan B : Cut below 1616

Plan C : Attempt selling if market rebounds from lower opening but still stays below 1631

FCPO gap up on Tuesday morning then it flattened for the whole session until some pressure from the seller towards the final hour before the close. Dalian and soybean oil are rather strong while Ringgit stays at RM 4.02 against the US Dollar.

Plan A : Sell if market resisted around 2613. Targets are 2599, 2590 and 2580.

Plan B : Buy if market stabilized and supported above 2590. Targets are 2613, 2629 and 2639.
