HSI Futures


U.S. equities closed lower on Thursday as large-cap technology stocks faced renewed pressure. The Dow Jones industrial average fell about 15 points, with Goldman Sachs contributing the most losses. The S&P 500 dropped 0.2 percent with information technology sliding 0.5 percent; the sector briefly fell more than 1 percent. The Nasdaq composite pulled back about 0.5 percent after falling more than 1 percent earlier on Thursday.


Hong Kong stocks fell to a three-week low on Thursday, led by the property sector, as borrowing costs in the city looked set to rise after a U.S. interest rate hike. The Hang Seng index fell 1.2 percent, to 25,565.34, while the China Enterprises Index lost 1.6 percent, to 10,346.15 points.

FKLI once again supported above 1786.5 and rebounded back to 1790's though regional were weak throughout the day on Thursday. This could be a sign of breakthrough if prices continue to support above 1790's.

Plan A : Attempt buying if market supported firm above 1791

Plan B : Cut below 1788

Plan C : Consider selling only if market failed to hold above 1791

Plan D : Cut above 1794

FCPO spiked on Thursday after a long consolidation at 2450's, erasing the losses made since early of June. Dalian and soybean oil are performing strong today while Ringgit is slightly weaken at RM4.27 against the greenback. Today is switch month. Trading plan is based on September contract.

Plan A : Buy if market retraced but supported above 2429. Targets are 2445, 2467 and 2495. 

 

Plan B : Sell if market opened high but resisted around 2467. Targets are 2445 and 2429.

Plan C : Above 2467, no fresh position.
