HSI Futures

 

Major U.S. stock indexes edged up to record closing highs on Wednesday with sector moves in the S&P 500 showing preference toward so-called defensive stocks, while Wall Street reacted mutedly to the minutes of the most recent Federal Reserve policy meeting.


Hong Kong stocks fell on Wednesday, pressured by a sharp reversal in property shares after the city’s chief executive unveiled a mix of housing and tax relief policies that disappointed some investors.

Plan C : Attempt selling if market stays trading below 28380

Plan D : Cut above 28440

Plan E : Consider buying if market trades resiliently above 28280

FKLI tumbled to a low of 1754 before settling at 1757.5 yesterday. Market will likely to be shaky once again today if it fails to regain footing above 1760-level. Any convincing breakdown below 1754.5 would trigger more panic selling.

Plan A : Attempt selling if market stays trading below 1760

Plan B : Cut above 1764

Plan C : Consider intraday buying if market holds firmly above 1754.5

FCPO rebounded to 2706 before a tumble to 2677, however, when prices stabilized at 2680's, market pulled its brake and reversed to settled at 2696. Dalian and soybean oil are positive while Ringgit stays at RM4.21 against the greenback.

Plan A : Buy if market retraced but supported above 2691. Targets are 2711 and 2723.

Plan B : Sell if market rebounded and resisted around 2711. Targets are 2691, 2684 and 2660.

Plan C : Above 2711, no fresh position.

Plan D : Below 2691, no fresh position.
