Gold prices held steady on Tuesday, buoyed by a tumble in global equity markets but pressured by expectations for more U.S. interest rate hikes this year.

Plan A : Buy if market supported above 1342.80. Targets are 1347.80 and 1352.70.

Plan B : Sell only if market failed to support above 1342.8. Targets are 1336.3 and 1327.10.

HSI

U.S. stocks plunged in highly volatile trading on Monday, with both the S&P 500 and Dow Industrials indices slumping more than 4.0 percent, as the Dow notched its biggest intraday decline in history with a nearly 1,600-point drop and Wall Street erased its gains for the year.

 

Hong Kong stocks ended lower on Monday but recouped much of their earlier losses sparked by a slide on Wall Street, as investors hunted for bargains via the Stock Connect linking the mainland and Hong Kong.

FKLI

 

FKLI gapped down yesterday upon opening due to plunges in Dow, buyers were all drew out from the market and the pressure from sellers is now strong to push the bull out. Regional and our market all are affected by the dive of Dow and today we shall see if the dive continues.

FCPO inched up to 2496 yesterday after stabilizing at 2445. Dalian and soybean oil are positive today while Ringgit stays at RM3.91 against the greenback.
