Gold prices remained locked just below $1,300 an ounce on Tuesday as investors waited for clues on the pace of U.S. interest rate rises following the impending conclusion of Federal Reserve policy making meeting.

U.S. stocks ended slightly higher on Tuesday, boosted by gains in utilities and technology shares, though investors were cautious ahead of the Federal Reserve’s policy decision.

 

Hong Kong stocks ended higher on Tuesday, after U.S. President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un signed a ‘comprehensive’ deal aimed at the denuclearisation of the Korean peninsula, while Washington committed to provide security guarantees for its old enemy.

FKLI

FKLI surged yesterday to the peak at 1792.5 and still failed to break above 1798, and then the market declined in the second session to close lower at 1777.5. Somehow the market still stood firm above the supports at 1772, but also at the same time resisted before 1798. Hence the market is said to be consolidating between this range.

FCPO continue to walk down South on Tuesday, breaching the supports and ended low at 2326. Dalian and soybean oil are weak today while Ringgit further weakened to RM3.99.
