Gold prices slumped to three-week lows on Friday as disappointed speculators liquidated long positions despite fresh trade skirmishes between the United States and China.

Plan A : Attempt buying if gold price holds resiliently above 1277.3

Plan B : Cut below 1275.3

Plan C : Consider selling if gold price recovers but fails to breach above 1281.6

U.S. stocks ended down on Friday on worries over an escalating trade dispute between the United States and China, but indexes closed well off the day's lows.


Hong Kong stocks fell on Friday and posted their biggest weekly drop in two-and-a-half months as Washington looks set to unveil a tariff list targeting $50 billion Chinese goods, and China vowed to retaliate, putting investors on edge.

FKLI did a remarkable recovery from an intraday low of 1739 before setting at 1758 before going into long Hari Raya holiday last Friday. Market is expected to open lower today with the escalating trade war between the United States and China dominating the weekend news.

Plan A : Attempt selling if FKLI remain trading below 1753.5

Plan B : Cut above 1758

Plan C : Consider buying only if FKLI holds resiliently above 1748 after a lower opening

Bean performed badly during our absence last week while Dalian is close for Dragon Boat Festival today. Re-ignition of U.S. trade war with China will see pressure in FCPO opening price today.
