資匯 The busy weekly

国家银行总裁洁蒂今日宣布，大马第2季国内生产总值(GDP)激增4.9%，远比市场预测的4.5%高，股市与汇市双双做出有利反应。

大马股市今早开市后4分钟内，综合指数便反弹10点至1615点，并在11点时做到1625点的最高水平，过后才套利回吐。

令吉汇价亦是在一早便回升，兑美元重新回到4令吉以下关口，接近中午时报1美元兑3.9975令吉。

虽然第2季GDP增长率比市场预期佳，惟各主要经济领域增长率皆比首季增长率低。其中服务业比去年第2季增长5.0%；制造业则增长4.2%(首季增长5.6%)；矿业与采石业增长6.0%(首季增长9.6%)。

第2季私人消费增长率亦见回落至6.4%，首季增长率为8.8%。

在次季GDP出街后，意味着今年上半年的GDP增长5.3%，而去年上半年的增长率则为6.4%。

it is exceeding the adjusted forecast(initial forecast was 6%) and then down to 4.5%-5.5%... the report seems to be giving "fake" good news... not to forget, Malaysia implement GST since April... should we expect at least better q-to-q result?

so, you forget we are chasing for export as we think weak ringgit is going to help export trading?
i just expect a better q-to-q quarter report from a "company"... and GDP = quarter report of a company(nation)... no idea...
