NEW YORK, March 25 -- Oil prices advanced on Monday.
The West Texas Intermediate for May delivery increased 1.32 U.S. dollars, or 1.64 percent, to settle at 81.95 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for May delivery gained 1.32 dollars, or 1.55 percent, to settle at 86.75 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
