Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum spoke with both outgoing U.S. President Joe Biden as well as Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Brazil on Monday.
"We agreed on the good outcome of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement," Sheinbaum said in a post on social media, referring to the North American free trade pact that is up for a revision in 2026.
A separate White House briefing had said Sheinbaum and Biden had met and discussed maintaining cooperation on migration, security, transnational crime and economic issues.
