Mahathir is not smarter than you and me
but Mahathir has great sense of timing and politics in his blood.
Wrote the Malay Dilemma at the right time
Left UMNO three times and each time with great timing that enhances his reputation when he returns
And resignation as PM ranks as one of his great decisions, a great patriotic decision based on his understanding of the situation at that time.....not easy for some one to voluntarily resign as PM.
Keeps his ears to the ground and understands the big trends,
Loyalty to Perjuangan , not loyalty to any particular Party.
Lives long enough to come out a winner.....
Stock market the same
Don't need to be the smartest kid on the block
But you need to have a great sense of timing...and stockmarket in your blood
You have to have your own book that you can call your own, yet willing and able to review to improve your opinions, you have to keep your ears to the ground and understand the big trends.
Your Loyalty is to the Struggle, not to any external party or group,
and you do need a bit of luck to live long enough to see you triumph,
to correct your mistakes, to reinvent yourself, to try again.....
Willing to take risks , even great risks that others will avoid...taking risks is part of your Struggle. You know that failure is not the end, failure is another step to success.

Do you know why Mahathir wants Proton 2.0! So he can help his cronies make 30% profit out of thin air! Geely ditch all Mahathir's cronies out from Proton!

Geely is moving towards electric cars in 2 years time! By that time, Mahathir cronies still supply 30 year old tech to outdated fossil fuel national car! You want to bet against Geely, go ahead and make Proton 2.0!

as for DRB.....good time to buy when people misunderstood the issue and sell down....This Proton 2.0 came out of some q and a, and not a policy announcement......it will be subject to study and a long long time.

the most stupid idea is to get that old man to b pm.. I saw his announcement in TV, reading from a piece of paper, after election, making some mistakes, can't pronounce certain words properly, lge was helping him at the side.. ... he need more rest than to come out to deal with something he was unable to cope in our new era... he will only take us back to 19 century... do u all want to go with him backward???
