China's position is clear
- no point in further negotiations unless US shows sincerity. No sign of that from US side
- without sincerity, no point in any agreement as any agreement can be broken by US side without consultation
- China wants good relationship with every country including US but if US wants war, China is ready to war.
- Its clear that US wants to encroach on the sovereign rights of China and not just balance of payment / trade issues. China cannot compromise on its sovereign rights except in the context of WTO rules and multi lateralism.
- China will works towards multi lateralism and protecting WTO and existing multi lateral agreements.
Wall Street has too much optimism built in . Wall Street is priced for perfection already.
Appeasement do not work as give one inch , they want one yard.

The ruling politicians in US rule by fake news. Beyond the small group of elites, the rest of the population have probably low levels of education like third world countries.
I find it amazing that some politicians from the ruling party talk about US farmers ripped by China.
How could it be ? He is telling those farmers China rip them when they sell their soya beans.
Well, the problem is already solved. China stop buying from them n start buying from Russia. Those idiots can eat all the soya beans themselves.

This is an interesting exercise. My take is DT need a deal within this year so that his re-election campaign can trumpet it as a win for him more than Xi, as he is already President for life. That is, China will not cut a deal yet, let DT sweat.
