KUALA LUMPUR: Dewan Rakyat Deputy Speaker Nga Kor Ming is the highest earning among members of parliament and government officers.

According to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) declaration of assets website, the Perak DAP chairman and his wife declared monthly earnings of RM101,160.

This places them above Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng and his wife, who had previously declared monthly earnings of RM86,464.92.

In third place is Sabah Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Christina Liew, at RM84,422.50.

At present, 112 government MPs have declared their monthly earnings. The information can be accessed via the website mydeclaration.sprm.gov.my which the commission started on Nov 1.
