KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 22): Former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak did not deny that his administration could have been misled by fugitive businessman Low Taek Jho, also known as Jho Low, over the controversial 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) issue.

Najib said Low was seen as someone with close ties to governments in the Middle East, especially the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.

In an interview with Sinar Live today, he also sought to clear the air on the nature of his relationship with Low, saying he had no knowledge of and was never involved in the businessman’s private life.
