PETALING JAYA: Attorney General Tan Sri Tommy Thomas should begin contempt proceedings against everyone making statements with regard to the statutory declaration (SD) by convicted killer Azilah Hadri, said lawyer Manjeet Singh Dhillon on behalf of Abdul Razak Baginda.

“The matter concerns and impacts an ongoing Shah Alam High Court civil suit and is in the circumstances sub judice.

“The Attorney General, who is involved in the High Court civil suit, should immediately take steps and institute contempt proceedings against everyone who is coming out with these statements and prejudicing that trial.

“We have yet to see any review application and will comment further on it when we have it in hand and know precisely what is being sought and why, ” said Manjeet in a brief media statement.

Abdul Razak, who was a special officer to Datuk Seri Najib Razak, was also implicated in the damning SD by Azilah on Najib, who said the then deputy prime minister ordered the execution of Mongolian national Altantuya Shaariibuu.

This lawyer has a problem. Everybody would like to know the truth, not just jump to any procedure. Investigate first, idiot.
