IT is better for PAS to contest in the 15th General Election (GE15) under its own logo Utusan Malaysia quoted the party’s spiritual leader Datuk Hashim Jasin as saying.
He said voters are familiar with the party’s logo which had been used for the past 70 years. This, he said, will give its candidates the winning advantage.
“The decision should be a joint one reached by the Perikatan Nasional presidential council,” he said.
He said during the previous Johor and Melaka state polls, some voters had confused the Perikatan logo with the Barisan Nasional logo.
PAS central committee member Dr Mohd Zuhdi Marzuki had also said previously that the party ought to use its own logo if it wanted to be victorious in GE15.
He said the party should be given the leeway to do so especially at its strongholds where it had the potential to win.
