KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 27 — Opposition Leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim urged the prime minister to ensure Parliament would discuss the country’s cost of living crisis and currency depreciation in its meeting next week.
In a letter addressed to Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, Anwar said the government could alternatively make way for him to table a motion to initiate the discussions.
Anwar said both matters required urgent attention and should be given priority at the next parliamentary meeting.
“I have suggested either the government submit a special motion related to this issue or allow me as the Opposition leader to bring it forward,” he said on Facebook.

The parliment debate is waste of time.will take 3-6 months to deliver solutions.by the time many people suffer already.let the current government finish it job.
Like covid-19 the ph wanted to debate how to overcome covid.will take 3-6 month to implement it.luckily perikatan use emergency power to implement action fast.or else the 20-50k covid-19 cases become reality fast.

Running parliment is very expensive! Anwar thinks it's free! Millions are spend just for whole day session, all paid by taxpayers money!

Anyway, we can't do much on rising inflation and weakening ringgit! It's a global problem at the moment! So far in Malaysia, we don't have long que of rakyat getting their daily meals from government which is happening in Thailand and many countries around the world!
In some european countries, even the middle income have to get their food from government food banks!

I didn't say governemnt should anything! But so far i think on fiscal side, it's sufficient! On fighting inflation, PM Sabri did the right thing by allowing traders to import food halting cartels total control! And also banning export of fresh chicken to Singapore which we saw drastic drop in retail chicken price!

Michael! Yeah, this is the problem with Harapan leaders! They should have learn from the 22 months fail government!
Instead until today, the Lims Mat Sabu and Anwar keep using the same tactics! Expired tactics to bait voters! They didn't learn anything!
The truth is, Umno is at their weakest now! BN doesn't exist anymore!
Sabah Sarawak politicians especially GRS and GPS already figure out how to win!
So it's all up to peninsula side to topple Umno once and for all!
But the problem is, majority malays still thinks BN Umno a better choice!
Should we blame rakyat! No, blame Harapan leaders! They fail to grow up!
