KUALA LUMPUR: Economy minister Rafizi Ramli tickled netizens with a light-hearted Facebook post today (April 11) about a 'cat burglary' he discovered at his home upon returning from his Hari Raya holidays.

"The owner of a house here was surprised after returning from a festive holiday.

"The 10 suspects who were identified had ransacked the kitchen and vented their anger on the plastic flower plant on the kitchen cabinet," read the post, which featured four photographs, of the mess in the kitchen as well as the 'suspects'.

"Some of the suspects tried to escape to the upper floor of the house and even tried to take away the home owner's exercise equipment, but were unsuccessful.

"The last suspect was caught while hiding in the potted plants.

"The motive is believed to have stemmed from their dissatisfaction over being left behind while the house owners had gone to celebrate their Hari Raya at their hometown."

The post has since garnered 2,000 likes and more than 500 comments.

Netizens were mostly amused with the post, and wished Rafizi Selamat Hari Raya.

One user, Ahmad Tarmizi, cheekily asked if the 'suspects' had gotten the house address from the Central Database Hub (Padu).
