KUALA LUMPUR: Affin Group has introduced a cashless programme for Lembaga Muzium Negeri Terengganu to modernise ticketing procedures and offer convenience to museum-goers.

The bank said the collaboration positions itself as a financial entity focused on empowering business owners by providing digital solutions, especially through cashless and contactless payment options.

Affin Bank Bhd president and group chief executive officer Datuk Wan Razly Abdullah emphasised that the initiative demonstrates a strong dedication to digital leadership and innovation, while promoting digital transformation across different industries.

"We are proud to announce that Affin has recently received the Industry Excellence Award for Innovative Payment Solutions for AffinMax.

"Designed specifically for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and corporate clients, AffinMax is fully secured, easy-to-use and offers a one stop access to the bank's financial products and services, covering cash management, trade finance, SMEs and retail products.

"As we strategically broaden our digital presence, this event serves as an opportunity for the bank to enhance its visibility in Terengganu and explore potential collaborations for implementing cashless collection solutions across diverse government agencies," he concluded.

The launch was overseen by Terengganu's state secretary Tengku Datuk Seri Tengku Farok Hussin Tengku Abdul Jalil at the Hari Raya open house at the state museum.

It saw the presence of 300 attendees, including officials from different state government bodies and stakeholders.
