KOTA BARU: Several issues, such as water, poverty and the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) route to Rantau Panjang were among the topics discussed between Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Kelantan Menteri Besar Datuk Mohd Nassuruddin Daud today.

In his facebook post, Nassuruddin said there was a positive sign from the meeting.

"Praise be to God. The meeting between received positive response from him.

"Please pray for the best," said the Meranti assemblyman.

The meeting was held at Darulnaim complex here.

Also present were Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability Minister Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad, Agriculture and Food Security Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu.

Later tonight, the Prime Minister will attend the state-level Madani Hari Raya open house in Tunjung.
