KUALA LUMPUR : As of 7.30 am today, 83.5 per cent of the water supply affected by the recent odour pollution at Sungai Kundang and Sungai Sembah has been restored.

Air Selangor said it is continually deploying water tankers to critical premises such as hospitals, clinics, dialysis centres and funeral homes.

It said said alternative water supply assistance is available at 16 local service centres.

Full recovery to all affected areas as listed by Air Selangor is expected to be at 8am tomorrow (July 26).

Consumers who received their water supply are advised to let the tap run until the water is clear before use and to use water wisely in early stage of recovery.

"Commercial customers can purchase water at Air Selangor's customer service counters in the Sepang and Hulu Langat regions.

"They can use their own tankers at filling stations in Braemar Estate (Hulu Langat) and Taman Gemilang Dengkil (Sepang)," the statement said.
