In addition, THETA was awarded with a contract for the development of Internet of Things (IoT)solutions for smart economy in Ampang Jaya.

The group is also exploring opportunities in the healthcare segment to diversify its current income stream.

An associate company refers to a company in which another company (investor company) has significant influence in, by virtue of owning at least 20% of shares in it (associate company). The stake is usually between 20% to 50% to ensure the associate has control over the company.

This will also enable Redtone to equity account profits of Theta Edge.

Theta Edge recently emerged as a company that is jointly proposing an autonomous rapid transit (ART) system in Johor Bahru (JB) with SIPP Rail Sdn Bhd, Mobilus Sdn Bhd and Lion Pacific. This comes after a consortium proposed a Light Rail Transit (LRT) system for the state’s capital city.
