PUTRAJAYA: The draft memorandum of understanding (MoU) for allocations for the opposition is not final and can be discussed, says Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil.

"Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof has said it is a draft, it can be discussed," Fahmi said in response to the opposition's criticisms of the purported conditions set for the MoU.

"When I was in the opposition, we discussed (an MoU) with the then prime minister (Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob), we did not discuss things in the media.

"If they (the opposition) followed what we did before and discussed it with us, there would be no problems. That is the forum, not in the media."
