Issue of Jakim officers in ministry misunderstood, says Fahmi

PUTRAJAYA: Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil says the issue over the placement of Islamic Development Department (Jakim) officers in government departments has been misunderstood.
Fahmi said claims that Jakim officers would be involved in policy-making were not true.
"In my ministry, there are no Jakim officers. These are baseless claims."
