FBM KLCI: 1,689.57 pts (-0.35 pts, -0.02%). 
The FBM KLCI started with a negative tone and managed to climb into the positive territory, recouping earlier losses ahead of the release of BNM Monetary Policy Statement. However, as BNM decided to maintain the Overnight Policy Rate (OPR) at 3.00 percent, the key index fell marginally by 0.35 pts to 1,689.57 pts. On the broader market, small cap stocks were on a positive rally as the FBM Small Cap index jumped 0.85%. Also, construction and building materials stocks were still under the limelight; GKENT and GADANG jumped 16.0 sen and 5.0 sen respectively, while ANNJOO added 5.0 sen.
