The FBM KLCI pared earlier losses, albeit the key-index still closed 0.2% lower on Thursday, mainly due to the rout in Wall Street overnight and the weakness in selected O&G-related stocks. Market breadth was tepid with 768 losers vs 173 winners, while 333 stocks flatlined. Semiconductor makers, meanwhile, remain pressured as Pentamaster (-29.0 sen), Vitrox (-20.0 sen) and Inari (-12.0 sen) ended lower alongside their global peers.
