The FBM KLCI (+1.46%) rebounded strongly and overall market boosted by healthcare sector (+7.1%), followed by construction (+1.4%) and technology (+1.3%) sectors; healthcare sector was up due to the top 4 gloves titans, which recovered strongly from yesterday's broad selling activities. In line with the regional stock markets, small cap and selected ACE market counters trended positively, popping into the active list as well. Market breadth was positive as gainers outpaced the losers by a ratio of 2-to-1. Meanwhile, FRONTKN, MYEG, PENTA were the leaders in the technology sector.
