The FBM KLCI (+1.4%) hovered in the positive region for the entire session with only 3 out of 30 constituents finishing in the red as investors could be brushing off the recent political developments and looking into recovery theme play as well as positioning ahead of the upcoming reporting season. Market breadth turned positive as the gainers thumped the losers by 633-to-372 stocks. The broader market was resilient with all 13 major economic sectors finished higher, led by the industrial products & services sector (+1.5%) on gains in PMETAL (+19.0 sen), HAPSENG (+17.0 sen), and ATAIMS (+11.0 sen).
