FBM KLCI: 1,553.37 pts (+30.94pts, +2.03%)

Mirroring regional uptrend performances, the FBM KLCI (+2.0%) extended gains for the third consecutive session with only 2 out of 30 constituents closing lower, mainly powered by gains in plantation and banking heavyweights. Market breadth remained positive as the gainers beat the losers by 812-to-319 stocks. The plantation sector (+3.2%) outperformed the positive broader market with significant gains, led by BKAWAN (+76.0 sen), KLK (+42.0 sen), and SIMEPLT (+25.0 sen), while REIT (-0.2%) was the only sector that declined.
