The FBM KLCI (+1.0%) extended its rally for a fifth straight session as foreign investors return to local equities and MAYBANK (+12.0 sen), PMETAL (+16.0 sen), and PBBANK (+6.0 sen) were taking the lead in our key index. Market breadth turned positive as the gainers outpaced the losers by 580-to-506 stocks.Meanwhlie, the plantation sector (+1.58%) outperforming the broader market, boosted by gains in KLK (+40.0 sen), GENP (+23.0 sen), and IOICORP (+8.0 sen) amid firmer CPO price near RM4,400 level.
