The FBM KLCI (-0.8%) surrendered its gains from the previous session following bearish regional sentiment, mainly dragged by the profit taking activities in the banking heavyweights amid the rising geopolitical tension. Market breadth turned negative as the decliners led the advancers by 960-to-256 stocks. The transportation and logistics sector (-2.67%) was pulled lower by AIRPORT (-28.0 sen), BIPORT (-20.0 sen), and GDEX (-1.0 sen), but the plantation (+1.93%) and energy (+1.79%) surged amid the firmer commodity prices.
